138 MILLION PEOPLE…
The media impact made by the book and the exhibition The Deep has been quite breathtaking. They have featured in articles, on radio shows, on television programs and on the web in Europe, North America and Asia, and have created a real ‘buzz’ about the deep sea. This media exposure has provided countless opportunities to inform the largely unaware journalists and general public about destructive, unsustainable and inequitable fishing practices such as deep-sea bottom trawling.
Around 138 MILLION PEOPLE across four continents have been reached in just two years! And that, we promise, is a conservative calculation! Our calculation is based on audience numbers and true print-runs, rather than rough estimations of readership that on average double or even triple media impact.
